SHOOT THE DUCK // STRATEGY & MANUAL

Forest Marshland Calibration

Calibrate your pointer inputs in the digital marshlands of ArcadeFortress. Ducks fly across a high-contrast blue sky background above a dense green pixel forest, presenting a moving vector target. Click or tap directly on the targets to register a shot.

Target Mechanics & Scoring

For every duck hit, you score points based on its velocity and scale. Ducks that fly off the screen borders escape, costing you one of your precious retries. As scores escalate, ducks accelerate, testing your reflex speeds.

Historical Context

An homage to Nintendo's classic 1984 light-gun game Duck Hunt. This HTML5 canvas simulation translates target reticle mechanics to modern browser mouse and touch pointer events, rendering beautiful 8-bit wings and beak shapes.
