Physics Calibration & High Contrast Rendering

Calibrated Dino hitboxes, wood paddle collision particles, and clay brown contrast segments for high lawn visibility.

Collision Detection Calculations

Our latest round of changes focused on pixel-perfect game performance and visual clarity. In Flappy Pterosaur, we fine-tuned the Dino collision envelope boundaries, ensuring that obstacle collisions feel completely fair and intuitive. The bounding box snaps cleanly, so clipping stalactite stone blocks behaves predictably. We also calibrated score thresholds and verified that high scores are recorded correctly to localized browser memory registers.

Ensuring High Color Contrast

In Forest Snake, the snake was originally colored green. However, because our overhauled grass field uses alternating forest green and lawn green checkerboard tiles, a green snake body would blend into the background, causing visibility issues for players. We resolved this by changing the snake body to warm clay and wood brown tones (#b85c37 and #8f5902). We also replaced neon spark splinters in Forest Pong with custom green leaf splinters and brown wood chips, adding a satisfying tactile feedback to every paddle bounce.
